OUR WORK SO FAR
Inclusive Eats has done a lot to help its communities, and we won't—and never will be—satisfied with stopping there. Here are some of Inclusive Eats most notable events and projects! Our other pantry runs and smaller events can be found on our Instagram, @inclusiveeats_org.

Inclusive Eats Cooking Classes
Inclusive Eats Cooking Classes bring together communities to celebrate and learn about diverse culinary traditions in a hands-on, interactive environment. Inclusive Eats Cooking Classes are designed to combat cultural erosion among youth by providing hands-on learning experiences that celebrate traditional culinary practices. Each class aims to educate and inspire, demonstrating to community leaders and residents the specific ingredients and techniques that define culturally traditional meals. So far, we have hosted four classes and plan to host more.

Food Drives & Distribution
Inclusive Eats actively supports communities through food drives and distribution to pantries, churches, families, etc. Our most successful drive, held in partnership with Genesis Community Church, raised an impressive 1,200 pounds of rice, demonstrating the power of community collaboration. Additionally, we allocate funding to purchase culturally specific ingredients, which are then distributed to our partner pantries.

Community Dinners
Inclusive Eats hosts community dinners that bring together immigrant families from countries like Haiti, Venezuela, and Brazil with long-time community residents and leaders. These events features foods from multiple cultures, creating a space where people from diverse backgrounds can connect over shared meals. These dinners not only offer a taste of home for many but also provide a platform for all attendees to engage in meaningful conversations, creating understanding and unity within the community. At each event, we also take the opportunity to advocate for our mission, raising awareness about the importance of cultural representation in addressing food insecurity. Additionally, in the past, we have provided transportation for families with through our partner Social Capital Inc.

Community Events
Inclusive Eats actively participates in community-wide events to advocate for our mission of promoting cultural inclusivity in food aid and combating food insecurity. A notable example is our involvement in the Lynnside Out Fair, where we collaborated with the Lynn Food Policy Council. Together, we distributed meals to families in need and provided vital information on how to apply for SNAP benefits, helping to ensure that no family has to go without. Additionally, at the Woburn Know Your Neighbor Multicultural Event, we had the opportunity to engage directly with our community, speaking passionately about our cause and the impact of our work. Through these events, Inclusive Eats not only distributes meals but also spreads awareness and garners support for our mission.

Inclusive Eats is honored to have been awarded the prestigious MTA Louise Gaskins Lifetime Civil Rights Award, recognizing our dedicated efforts to address food insecurity while promoting cultural inclusivity.
